Bart Tunnell is the owner and operator of Valley Inspection Company, LLC (VICO). He began VICO with the realization that tubular customers and end users require additional QA/QC oversight & FIELD Services that exceed the current 3rd party service market. 

VICO provides specialized services with a hands-on approach that will ensure compliance to customers’ specific requirements with a focus on individualized attention, integrity and communication.

Bart Tunnell is known for his expertise in API, ASTM steel tubulars & processing with an emphasis on Quality. He is regarded as a knowledgeable, experienced technical service / Quality Management representative with over 45 years of experience.

He has worked in the oil and gas service industry, with a focus on Quality Control, at companies including Tuboscope, Halliburton, Maverick Tube, and Joy Pipe. He has held a Quality Assurance Management position in the tubular manufacturing/processing sector for 18 years with an emphasis on field service. In this role, he traveled to various locations on behalf of customers, managing customer satisfaction, service, and quality compliance.

Bart has participated in various work committees and industry organizations over the years. He is currently a member of the American Petroleum Institute (API), where he serves and votes on work groups concerning standards, specifications, and recommended practices related to tubular products and Quality Management System requirements.
